Art is especially beneficial for children. It encourages creativity, and helps children develop a sense of their own individuality, a sense of self-respect, and an appreciation of others' work. That's why the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County is so proud of our children's art program, and is pleased to announce the return of Art Fest, our original signature fundraising event showcasing artwork by the children of the Boys & Girls Club.

Support of the Boys & Girls Club will help fund the many programs that give children the opportunity to enjoy experiences they might not otherwise have—experiences that will shape them for the rest of their lives.
