Character building and enrichment opportunities are recurrent themes in every core program that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County offers. Our athletic opportunities to the boys and girls of Bakersfield, and its surrounding community are merely extensions of our philosophy and after-school programs. To participate in one of the athletic leagues, children must be enrolled in a Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County after-school program and be in the kindergarten - 8th grade.

Buffalo Wild Wings ("B-Dubs"), through its TEAM UP FOR KIDS® mission, is committed to supporting the development and growth of ALL STARS team sports programs including football, basketball, soccer, dance, step and cheerleading for Boys & Girls Club youth around the country. These high quality teams are designed to build character and teach young people skills that help them succeed on and off the field.
