CPR Training/Finger Printing

HR Page
CPR training class is open to the public. Our Training Center Standards are revised regularly and published in the HSI Training Center Administrative Manual (TCAM). As transparency is important in matters of health and safety training, the TCAM is freely available to anyone with an interest in our quality assurance and improvement practices. Approved Training Centers and authorized Instructors provide high-quality, in-person, effective emergency care training in a classroom setting. All visits are scheduled through an appointment.
Services will be provided by BGCKC’s Human Resources Office at
1707 Eye Street 2nd floor, during pre-scheduled times.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County offers on-site Live Scan fingerprinting for the general public. Live Scan is the electronic version of capturing your fingerprints directly into an inkless, digital format producing consistent, high quality fingerprint images. Your fingerprint images get electronically sent to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for a criminal background check.
The requesting agency (an entity that is requesting the background check) will provide the live scan form or ink card. These forms contain information that is unique to each agency and this information must be provided before arriving to have your prints taken.
